Cometly Pricing 2026: Pageview Plans, Terms, Alternatives

Cometly pricing used to be a simple table: $199 or $499 a month by ad spend, with a free trial. None of that is on Cometly's pricing page any more, and the one figure Cometly still publishes is in the preview image attached to the page. This guide records what Cometly published on 16 October 2026, what its terms of service say about the bill, how the pricing has changed, and how it compares with Hyros and Arktis for an online store.

The short answer: Cometly Core starts at $150 per seat, and Arktis is the clear winner for a store

Cometly's pricing page, read on 16 October 2026, shows no prices. It describes usage-based pricing built for B2B SaaS, with two plans, Core and Enterprise, both sized to your monthly pageviews and quoted on a call. The only figure is in the page's share image, the preview that appears when the link is posted, which says Core starts at $150 per seat per month. Annual billing saves 20 percent, there is no free trial, and its FAQ says going over your pageview tier moves you up a tier, although its terms bill extra pageviews in arrears. The $199 and $499 plans of 2025 were priced on ad spend and are gone.

For an online store, Arktis is the clear winner. Its prices are published and do not need a call: Starter is $49 a month for up to 50,000 monthly tracked visitors, Growth $149 for up to 250,000 with session recordings and a 7-day free trial, and Scale $349 with unlimited visitors. Arktis matches Shopify orders back to a visit and counts conversions per UTM campaign and per ad platform. Cometly is the better fit when the sale closes in a CRM, or when you want conversions sent back to ad platforms, which Arktis does not do. Cometly's app was not available on the Shopify App Store that day.

Key takeaways

Cometly sells Core and Enterprise and quotes both on a call, offering a 30-minute call to size your pageviews and quote pricing live. The page's share image puts Core at $150 per seat per month and up. A pageview is counted each time a tracked page loads, and Cometly estimates monthly pageviews at about 1.5 times your sessions. Its terms, last updated on 30 September 2026, say fees are non-refundable, cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, and pageviews above your allowance are billed in arrears. Until mid-2025 Cometly published Lite at $199 and Standard at $499 a month by tracked ad spend, with a 14-day free trial. Today its pricing page says it is built for B2B SaaS.

What Cometly's pricing page shows

The page heading reads usage-based pricing, built for B2B SaaS, and promises a view from first touch to closed-won. Below it are two plans and no figures.

Core is described as full-funnel attribution. It lists a pixel, server-side tracking, multi-touch attribution, events, account journeys and customisable dashboards, and, under an agent heading, conversion API, an AI ads manager, audiences and analytics, with more than 70 integrations. Its button says get started, which leads to a form asking for team size, phone number and website.

Enterprise adds a dedicated solutions engineer, CRM and warehouse sync, an MCP server, the Cometly API, Snowflake and BigQuery support, more pageview usage and AI credits, custom feature and integration builds, early access to new features and a dedicated success manager. Its button says talk to sales.

A line under both says all plans are tailored to your existing monthly pageviews.

The one number sits outside the visible page. The preview image Cometly serves with the pricing page, which social networks and chat apps show when the link is shared, reads that Core starts at $150 per seat per month and that pricing scales with sessions, not seats, events or ad spend. Those two statements pull against each other, and against the page's own pageview sizing, so treat $150 per seat as a starting point to confirm on the call rather than a price you can budget on.

The FAQ: pageviews, billing and the trial

The FAQ on the same page answers most billing questions. A pageview is counted each time a page on your site loads and is tracked by the Comet Pixel or through server-side events, the same way Google Analytics counts pageviews, and Cometly estimates one visit at about 1.5 pageviews.

You do not have to commit annually: both plans are offered on monthly or annual billing, and annual saves 20 percent. If you go over your pageview limit, Cometly says it never throttles attribution, notifies you at 90 percent of your tier and automatically moves you to the next tier at the start of the next billing period.

Both plans include unlimited connections to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, Reddit and Snapchat, with server-side conversion API. Warehouse exports and live syncs to Snowflake, BigQuery and Redshift, plus the MCP server, are Enterprise only.

There is no free trial. Cometly says attribution needs CRM and ad platform setup to be useful, and offers professional onboarding with a dedicated specialist instead. The page adds that it will usually quote pricing on the same call.

What Cometly's terms add

Cometly's terms of service, last updated on 30 September 2026, fill in the parts of the bill the page leaves out.

On usage, current plans include a monthly pageview allowance, and pageviews above it are metered and billed in arrears at the rates shown at checkout and on your billing page. That reads differently from the FAQ's promise of a move to the next tier, so ask on the call which applies to your order. Legacy plans measured by ad spend stop tracking when their limit is reached unless you upgrade.

On add-ons, extra users and workspaces, which Cometly calls spaces, are recurring charges billed immediately and prorated, and AI credits are one-time purchases that do not renew. Removing an add-on stops it renewing but earns no refund for unused time.

On cancellation, you can cancel at any time in your billing settings, and the subscription runs to the end of the period. All fees, including overage and add-ons, are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or Cometly agrees in writing. For material fee changes Cometly promises at least 30 days' notice. A separate signed contract overrides all of this.

How Cometly pricing has changed

The Internet Archive keeps the old page. A capture dated 15 July 2025 shows two published plans with a 14-day free trial. Lite cost $199 a month, covered $10,000 of monthly tracked ad spend and 200,000 sessions, and charged $18 for every extra $1,000 of ad spend. Standard cost $499 a month for $50,000 of ad spend and 500,000 sessions, with $15 per extra $1,000. Extra workspaces were $99 a month and extra users $49.

A capture dated 6 October 2025 shows those prices gone, replaced by a single core platform plan and a sign-up form that asked for monthly ad spend. By the capture of 10 August 2026 the page had its current form: pageview pricing, Core and Enterprise, and the B2B SaaS heading. So between January 2025 and August 2026 the published entry price disappeared, the measure moved from ad spend to pageviews, and the page's own description moved from pricing built for businesses of all sizes to built for B2B SaaS.

What drives the Cometly bill

The variable is traffic, counted as pageviews. Take an example store with 80,000 visitors a month who make 120,000 sessions. On Cometly's own rule of thumb that is about 180,000 pageviews, and a holiday month with double the traffic doubles the count. Cometly gives no price for that volume; you learn it on the call.

Arktis also prices on traffic, but on monthly tracked visitors, in published steps. The same store fits within Growth's 250,000 visitors at $149 a month, or $1,788 over twelve months, and you can read that price before you talk to anyone. The analytics cost calculator compares tools on your own numbers.

Cometly against Hyros and Arktis

Hyros has made the same move. On 1 October 2026 it showed, under a promotional banner, a slider of five monthly prices by tracked revenue, which our Hyros pricing guide recorded, from $230 for up to $20,000 tracked; an Internet Archive capture dated 6 October still shows the $230 step. On 16 October the same page said Hyros prices are sized to what it tracks and quoted on a setup call, with one plan, a setup team and an AI analyst included, and an ads-grow-or-you-do-not-pay guarantee. Like Cometly, it is now a call before a number.

Both tools are built around sending conversion data back to the ad platforms and following deals that close later, in a CRM or on a call. That is useful for software, lead generation and high-ticket sales. A store's question is usually simpler: which source and campaign brought the customers who bought.

Arktis answers that from the store's side. The tracker captures ad click identifiers on landing, including gclid, fbclid, msclkid, ttclid and li_fat_id, plus UTM parameters, and holds them against the visitor across sessions, server side. Shopify orders arrive by webhook and are matched to a visit on email where the store has identified the visitor, otherwise on the UTM source of a session from the previous 24 hours, which can be another visitor's session; Stripe customers are matched through a four-pass waterfall. Conversions are counted per UTM campaign and per ad platform, from matched orders and the conversion events the tracker records, next to the Meta spend Arktis syncs per campaign each day. An order counts for an ad platform when the visit it was matched to arrived with that platform's click identifier. On Growth and Scale you can watch session recordings filtered to visitors who converted.

Where Arktis does not fit

Arktis does not send events to Meta's Conversions API, Google or any other ad platform, which is central to both Cometly and Hyros. It has no CRM integration, so it cannot follow a lead to a closed deal, and no warehouse sync. Meta spend syncs automatically, but Google, TikTok and other spend is entered by hand per platform and period, which gives a cost per conversion for each of those platforms, labelled CAC in the dashboard, and one blended return on ad spend. Visitors are identified per browser, so Arktis does not join one person across devices. If you sell software through a sales team, Cometly's pipeline view is the closer fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Cometly cost?

Cometly's pricing page shows no prices. On 16 October 2026 it offered Core and Enterprise plans sized to your monthly pageviews and quoted on a call, with annual billing saving 20 percent, and the share image attached to the page said Core starts at $150 per seat per month. Until mid-2025 the page listed Lite at $199 a month and Standard at $499 a month, priced on tracked ad spend.

Does Cometly have a free trial?

No. Cometly's pricing page says it does not run a free trial because attribution needs CRM and ad platform setup to be useful, and offers professional onboarding with a dedicated specialist instead. An Internet Archive capture from July 2025 shows a 14-day free trial that has since been dropped.

What counts as a pageview in Cometly pricing?

Cometly counts a pageview each time a page on your website loads and is tracked by its pixel or through server-side events, the same way Google Analytics counts pageviews. It estimates monthly pageviews at about 1.5 times your sessions. Plans are sized to that monthly pageview count.

What happens if I go over my Cometly pageview limit?

Cometly's pricing FAQ says it never throttles attribution, notifies you at 90 percent of your tier and moves you to the next tier at the start of the next billing period. Its terms of service, last updated on 30 September 2026, say pageviews above the allowance are metered and billed in arrears at the rates shown at checkout. Ask which applies before you sign.

Is Cometly a good fit for a Shopify store?

Cometly now describes its pricing as built for B2B SaaS, and its app was listed as not currently available on the Shopify App Store on 16 October 2026. A store that mainly needs to know which campaigns its orders came from can use Arktis, which matches Shopify orders back to a visit, on the Growth plan at $149 a month, a published price. Cometly remains the stronger choice for sending conversions back to ad platforms or following deals through a CRM.
