Polar Analytics pricing is hard to find on Polar's own pricing page, which lists two plans and a demo button but no numbers. The figures exist, in Polar's Shopify App Store listing and in the terms on its own site, and they are priced on your store's revenue rather than its traffic. This guide records what each of those sources showed on 16 October 2026, how the price has changed, and how it compares with Triple Whale and Arktis.
The short answer: Polar starts at $750 a month, and Arktis is the clear winner for most stores
Polar Analytics' Core Plan starts at $750 a month for brands with annual impacted GMV under $5 million, rising with each GMV bracket. That figure is in Polar's terms, last updated on 2 September 2026, and on its Shopify App Store listing, which says pricing is based on online GMV with discounts for annual terms. The pricing page itself showed no prices on 16 October 2026. Billing is month to month by default, and paying ten months upfront buys twelve.
For an online store that needs to know which campaigns its orders came from, Arktis is the clear winner on cost. It is priced on monthly tracked visitors, not revenue: Starter is $49 a month for up to 50,000 visitors, Growth $149 for up to 250,000 with session recordings and a 7-day free trial, and Scale $349 with unlimited visitors. Polar's entry price is $9,000 over twelve months; Arktis Growth is $1,788. Polar is the better buy for a larger brand that wants its own data warehouse, conversion events sent back to Meta and Google, or Amazon and retail data in one place, which Arktis does not offer.

| Arktis | Monthly tracked visitors | $49, $149 and $349 a month | 7-day free trial on Growth |
Key takeaways
Polar sells two plans, Core and Custom, and its pricing page asks you to book a demo for both. The Core Plan starts at $750 a month under $5 million in annual impacted GMV, according to Polar's own terms and Shopify listing, and climbs by GMV bracket. A brand that uses Polar only for online data is priced on online GMV. The default term is month to month, cancellable before the next bill date, and annual prepaid gives two months free. In June 2025 the page published three self-serve plans from $300 a month; by September 2025 those were gone.
What Polar's pricing page shows
On 16 October 2026 the page at polaranalytics.com/pricing opened with what every plan includes. Under the Polar Data Platform it lists a dedicated Snowflake database, an ecommerce semantic layer, a first-party pixel, and custom roles and permissions. Under no hidden limits it lists unlimited users and unlimited historical data, and under support a dedicated success manager, a Slack channel and live chat.
Below that come two plans. The Core Plan, described as the essential data stack, includes all Business Intelligence, AI Agents and Data Activations, with a note that it saves 20 percent on individual product costs. The Custom Plan lets you assemble a stack from Business Intelligence, Incrementality Testing, Polar Headless MCP, Klaviyo Audiences and Advertising Signals. Each plan and product ends in a book a demo button. No price or GMV selector was visible.
Where the $750 figure comes from
Polar's Terms and Policies page, last updated on 2 September 2026, contains a pricing schedule. It says the Core Plan is priced on the client's impacted GMV, and that a team using Polar only for online data is priced on online GMV, even if the business has large retail or offline channels. Pricing is computed in the client's local currency using the applicable GMV bracket. Core Plan pricing, in its words, starts at $750 a month for brands with annual impacted GMV under $5 million and scales upward with each bracket according to the current rate card, which Polar does not display.
The same schedule sets the terms. The default subscription is month to month, billed monthly through Stripe, unless an annual prepaid or longer plan is chosen on the order form. Month-to-month subscriptions can be cancelled before the next bill date and run to the end of the paid period, while annual and multi-year terms remain payable for the full term. Annual prepaid means paying for ten months and receiving twelve, which is a discount of about 17 percent. Prices exclude taxes. Polar may also offer a flat price against a committed total GMV, with any true-up set in the order form.
The licence agreement on the same page adds two details. It provides for a free trial of seven days where a client signs up for one, and it says Polar must give 60 days' notice before a renewal period to change the agreed price, although the pricing schedule on the same page speaks only of reasonable notice.
The Shopify App Store listing matches. On 16 October 2026 it showed one plan, Core Plan from $750 a month, pricing based on online GMV, discounts available for annual terms, and listed Business Intelligence, Klaviyo Audiences, Advertising Signals, Polar MCP, unlimited users, unlimited historical data and unlimited connectors. Charges are in US dollars, billed every 30 days, and may be billed by Polar separately from the Shopify invoice. The listing showed a rating of 4.9 from 116 reviews.
What each Polar product does
Business Intelligence is the core: a dashboard library, custom reporting, multi-touch attribution through the Polar Pixel, Ask Polar AI, goal tracking, and alerts and scheduled reports. Polar Headless MCP connects AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to the warehouse and its 400-plus predefined metrics.
The two data activation products push data out. Klaviyo Audiences identifies abandonment events Klaviyo misses, such as browse abandonment and add to cart, so existing flows can reach more shoppers. Advertising Signals sends conversion events to Meta and Google through their conversion APIs; the terms say it comes with the Core Plan or, as a Custom Plan add-on, only for brands with $10 million or more in annual GMV.
Incrementality Testing, which includes a dedicated data scientist and lift tests on Meta, Google, TikTok or TV campaigns, is available for brands above $10 million in annual GMV and priced per test.
One detail is worth raising on a demo call. The pricing page lists a dedicated success manager and Slack channel under all plans, but the terms say those are included for plans with an annualised contract value of $10,000 and above, and a dedicated solution engineer from $20,000. The entry Core Plan at $750 a month comes to $9,000 a year, below the first threshold.
How Polar's pricing has changed
The Internet Archive shows a different page in 2025. A capture dated 18 June 2025 has a GMV selector and three self-serve plans with start for free buttons: Analyze at $300 a month, Analyze and Enrich at $350 and Analyze, Enrich and Activate at $400, month to month, for brands with GMV up to $1.5 million, with annual billing saving 17 percent. A capture dated 13 September 2025 shows the current layout, with Core and Custom plans and no prices displayed. Between June 2025 and today the published entry point moved from $300 a month under $1.5 million in GMV to $750 under $5 million, now found only in the terms and the Shopify listing, and buying moved from a sign-up button to a demo.
What Polar costs next to Triple Whale and Arktis
Take a store selling $3 million a year online with 120,000 monthly visitors, as an example. On Polar it falls in the under $5 million bracket, so the Core Plan starts at $750 a month, $9,000 a year month to month or $7,500 paid annually upfront.
Triple Whale's pricing page showed a free plan and no paid prices on 16 October 2026, with Foundation and Automate behind a walkthrough. Its Shopify App Store listing showed Foundation at $219 a month or $2,190 a year and Automate at $749 a month or $7,490 a year, without naming a revenue tier. The pricing page says paid plans are 12-month subscriptions billed monthly or annually, and that you move to a plan matching your revenue tier as you grow. Our Triple Whale pricing guide has the history.
On Arktis the same store fits within Growth's 250,000 visitors, so it pays $149 a month, $1,788 a year, and Growth includes session recordings. If revenue doubles and traffic does not, the Arktis bill does not move, where a GMV-priced plan can climb a bracket. The analytics cost calculator runs the comparison on your own numbers.
What Arktis measures instead
Arktis is narrower than Polar and built around one question: which source and campaign brought the customers who bought. The tracker captures ad click identifiers on landing, including gclid, fbclid, msclkid and ttclid, plus UTM parameters, and holds them against the visitor across sessions, server side. Shopify orders arrive by webhook and are matched to a visit on email where the store has identified the visitor, otherwise on the UTM source of a session from the previous 24 hours, which can be another visitor's session. Unmatched orders are kept, unattributed.
From those matches and the conversion events its tracker records, it counts conversions per UTM campaign and per ad platform, next to the Meta spend it syncs per campaign each day at 01:00 UTC. An order counts for an ad platform when the visit it was matched to arrived with that platform's click identifier. Google, TikTok and other spend is entered by hand per platform and period, which gives a cost per conversion per platform, labelled CAC in the dashboard, and one blended return on ad spend. A Models view compares five rule-based models, first-touch, last-touch, linear, time-decay and position-based, counting conversions per ad platform for visits that carried a click identifier. On Growth and Scale you can watch session recordings filtered to visitors who converted.
Where Arktis does not fit
Arktis is the wrong choice if you want what Polar is built around. It gives you no data warehouse and no SQL access, it does not send conversion events to Meta's Conversions API or Google, and it does not bring in Amazon, retail or offline sales. It has no Klaviyo integration and does not enrich Klaviyo audiences. Meta spend syncs automatically, but Google, TikTok and other spend is typed in by hand. Visitors are identified per browser, so one person on a phone and a laptop is seen as two visitors. A brand above $10 million in GMV with an analyst on staff will get more from Polar's warehouse than from Arktis's dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Polar Analytics cost?
Polar Analytics' Core Plan starts at $750 a month for brands with annual impacted GMV under $5 million, according to Polar's terms, last updated on 2 September 2026, and its Shopify App Store listing. The price rises with each GMV bracket, and Polar does not display the rate card. Polar's pricing page showed no prices on 16 October 2026 and asks you to book a demo.
Is Polar Analytics priced on revenue?
Yes. Polar prices the Core Plan on annual impacted GMV, and a team that uses Polar only for online data is priced on online GMV even if the business also sells offline. Pricing is computed in the client's local currency using the applicable GMV bracket. Polar may also offer a flat price against a committed total GMV.
Is Polar Analytics a monthly or annual contract?
Polar's terms make month to month the default, billed monthly through Stripe, and a monthly subscription can be cancelled before the next bill date. An annual prepaid plan gives twelve months of service for the price of ten. Annual and multi-year terms remain payable for the full committed term.
Does Polar Analytics have a free trial?
Polar's licence agreement provides for a free trial of seven days where a client signs up for one, after which the agreement ends unless a paid subscription starts. The pricing page and Shopify listing did not advertise a trial on 16 October 2026, and both point new customers to a demo or the Core Plan. Ask on the demo call whether a trial is available.
Is Polar Analytics cheaper than Triple Whale?
Not at the entry level. Polar's Core Plan starts at $750 a month under $5 million in GMV, while Triple Whale's Shopify listing shows Foundation at $219 a month and a free plan, although Triple Whale's paid plans are 12-month subscriptions and its tiers rise with revenue. For a store that mainly needs order attribution, Arktis Growth costs $149 a month for up to 250,000 visitors, with Starter at $49 and Scale at $349 on the same visitor tiers.
