Cyber Week 2026: Dates, BFCM Calendar and Ad Plan
Cyber Week 2026 runs to Cyber Monday on 30 November. Every Q4 date an online store needs, from Prime Big Deal Days to USPS cut-offs, and a weekly ad plan.

Cyber Week is when many online stores spend the most on ads and learn the least about which ones worked. Budgets rise across channels at once, discounts pull sales forward, and ad platforms claim credit for the same orders. This guide sets out the Q4 2026 calendar, what Cyber Week actually means depending on who is counting, and a week-by-week plan for spending and measuring through it.
The short answer: Cyber Week 2026 ends 30 November, and Arktis tells you which campaigns paid
Cyber Week 2026 runs from Thanksgiving on Thursday 26 November to Cyber Monday on 30 November on Adobe's five-day definition, with Black Friday on 27 November in the middle. Salesforce uses a seven-day window that starts on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, which puts the start on 24 November this year. The wider Q4 season opens earlier, with Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days on 6 and 7 October, and ends with the USPS holiday send-by dates of 17 to 19 December.
For measuring that week in an online store, Arktis is the clear winner, because the question after Cyber Monday is not how much you sold but which campaigns produced the orders. Arktis captures the click identifier and UTM tags when a visitor lands, holds them against that visitor across sessions, reports return on ad spend and customer acquisition cost per Meta campaign from matched orders, and compares first-touch, last-touch, linear, time-decay and position-based credit per ad platform. Plans are $49, $149 and $349 a month, and Growth has a 7-day free trial.
| Date | Day | Event | What it means for a store |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 to 7 October | Tue to Wed | Amazon Prime Big Deal Days | Q4 discount season opens; keep these two days out of your baseline |
| 11 November | Wednesday | Singles' Day | Optional early-access offer for a warm list |
| 24 November | Tuesday | Start of Cyber Week on Salesforce's definition | Early-access offers and email warm-up |
| 26 November | Thursday | Thanksgiving, start of Adobe's Cyber Week | $6.4 billion US online spend in 2025, per Adobe |
| 27 November | Friday | Black Friday | Shopify merchants hit their 2025 peak minute at 12:01pm EST |
| 28 November | Saturday | Small Business Saturday | Independent-brand angle for smaller stores |
| 30 November | Monday | Cyber Monday | $14.25 billion, Adobe's biggest US e-commerce day of 2025 |
| 1 December | Tuesday | GivingTuesday | Charity tie-ins, sale wind-down |
| 17 December | Thursday | USPS send-by: Ground Advantage and First-Class Mail | Last standard-shipping promise for Christmas |
| 18 December | Friday | USPS send-by: Priority Mail | Switch copy to expedited shipping |
| 19 December | Saturday | USPS send-by: Priority Mail Express | Final shipping cut-off; gift cards after this |
The USPS dates are recommended send-by dates for expected delivery before 25 December to addresses in the contiguous United States, not guarantees. Alaska, Hawaii and the US territories have their own list.
Key takeaways
Cyber Week has no official definition. Adobe counts five days, Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, and measured $44.2 billion of US online spending across them in 2025, up 7.7 percent. Salesforce counts seven days and put 2025 global Cyber Week sales at $336.6 billion. Shopify reports on the Black Friday Cyber Monday weekend and says its merchants sold $14.6 billion over it in 2025, up 27 percent. Deloitte forecasts US holiday e-commerce of $316.1 billion to $318.9 billion for November 2026 to January 2027, growth of 7.5 to 8.4 percent. The practical point for a store is that the calendar starts in early October and the attribution argument lasts well into December, so your measurement has to be in place before either.
What Cyber Week means, and why the definitions differ
Nobody owns the term Cyber Week, so the numbers you read depend on which window the publisher chose.
Adobe Digital Insights defines Cyber Week as the five-day shopping period from Thanksgiving through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Its 2025 figures were $6.4 billion on Thanksgiving, $11.8 billion on Black Friday and $14.25 billion on Cyber Monday, all US online spending. Salesforce reported its 2025 Cyber Week as 25 November to 1 December, a Tuesday-to-Monday week, and measured it globally rather than for the US alone, with the US share at $79.6 billion. Shopify's BFCM figure runs from early Friday in New Zealand to late Monday in California, covers only Shopify merchants, and includes offline as well as online sales.
None of these is wrong. They answer different questions, and comparing a Salesforce global number with an Adobe US number tells you nothing. For your own reporting, pick one window and keep it year on year. We suggest Adobe's Thursday-to-Monday span, because it is short enough to isolate the discount itself and Adobe publishes daily figures inside it to compare against.
The rest of the Q4 2026 calendar
Prime Big Deal Days on 6 and 7 October is Amazon's 48-hour Prime member sale, running in 22 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden. Amazon describes it as kicking off the season. Even if you do not sell on Amazon, it is a good cut-off for your pre-season baseline.
Singles' Day on 11 November started in China and now reaches well beyond it. Taobao said its 11.11 festival would roll out in 20 markets in 2025. For most Western stores it is a secondary moment, but it works as an early-access date for a list that is already warm.
Small Business Saturday on 28 November was founded by American Express in 2010 and has been cosponsored by the US Small Business Administration since 2011. GivingTuesday falls on 1 December, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and suits stores that pair a sale with a donation.
The USPS dates close the season. After 17 December USPS no longer recommends Ground Advantage for delivery by Christmas, so the offer should shift to expedited shipping, then to gift cards and digital products after 19 December.
A week-by-week ad and measurement plan
Now to 5 October: fix tracking before the money moves
Everything you want to know in December depends on what you capture in October. Agree one UTM naming scheme for every campaign, including email and SMS, and write it down; our UTM parameters guide covers the conventions and the UTM builder generates tagged links. Place a test order through each ad channel and check that the click identifier and the campaign both arrive with the order.
Shopify stores have a specific deadline here. From 1 October 2026, apps can no longer create or update script tags, and on 1 March 2027 Shopify stops injecting script tags into storefronts. Tracking should be moving to app embed blocks or web pixels, and it is better to find a broken tag in September than on Black Friday.
6 October to 8 November: record a baseline
Prime Big Deal Days can distort the first week of October, so take your baseline from the weeks around it rather than across it. Record conversion rate, average order value, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend per campaign at normal prices. Without that baseline, a Cyber Week result of three times return on ad spend has nothing to be compared with.
This is also the time to build audiences. Prospecting in October and early November fills the lists that retargeting and email convert in late November, which is exactly the effect a last-click report will miss.
9 to 22 November: warm up and hold creative steady
Launch early-access and waitlist campaigns, with Singles' Day as an optional first offer. Load the Black Friday creative now and let it exit the ad platforms' learning phases before prices drop. Avoid major campaign restructuring in the final fortnight, because it resets learning at the busiest point of the year.
23 November to 1 December: Cyber Week itself
Spend where the demand is, but tag every variant separately so you can tell a Black Friday prospecting ad from a Cyber Monday retargeting ad after the fact. Keep a simple daily log of budget changes and discount levels. When results look odd in December, that log is usually the explanation.
2 to 19 December: read the results, then shift to shipping deadlines
Wait before you judge. Some Cyber Week clicks convert days later, and ad platforms count them inside their own attribution windows. Meta, for example, changed its definition in 2026 so that click-through attribution for website conversions includes only link clicks, with likes, shares and saves moved into a separate engage-through figure, so year-on-year comparisons inside Meta's own reports need care. Compare each platform's claims against the orders your store actually recorded, then move the remaining budget to the campaigns that produced real orders before the USPS cut-offs.
How to measure which campaigns actually produced orders
The core problem in Cyber Week is overlap. A shopper sees a Meta ad in October, clicks a Google ad on Black Friday, opens an email on Sunday and buys on Cyber Monday. Each platform can reasonably claim that order, and adding up their reports gives you more conversions than you had orders.
The fix is to measure from your own store outward. Capture the click identifier and UTM tags on landing, keep them with the visitor across sessions, and attach them to the order when it arrives. Then look at the same week under more than one attribution model. If a prospecting campaign looks weak on last-touch and strong on first-touch, it is feeding the campaigns that close, and cutting it in December will show up as a weaker January. Our guide to first-touch vs last-touch attribution explains the trade-off, and the attribution model comparison tool lets you test it on your own numbers.
That is the job Arktis is built for. It captures gclid, gbraid and wbraid from Google, fbclid from Meta, msclkid from Microsoft, ttclid from TikTok and the other major click identifiers, plus UTM parameters, and matches Shopify orders to a visitor on email or on the UTM tags of a recent visit. Meta Ads spend syncs through a direct connection, so Meta campaigns show customer acquisition cost and return on ad spend without exports, and the model comparison shows first-touch, last-touch, linear, time-decay and position-based credit per ad platform for visits that carried a click identifier. It also flags traffic from messaging apps and from AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity, which is worth watching: Adobe measured generative AI traffic to US retail sites up 693.4 percent over the 2025 holiday season.
Where Arktis fits, and where it does not
Arktis is our product, so here is where it falls short. Only Meta spend syncs automatically. Google, TikTok and other spend is entered by hand in the Ads Analytics dashboard, per platform and period rather than per campaign, so Google and TikTok return on ad spend is by platform, not by campaign. Arktis does not send conversions back to Meta's Conversions API or Google's enhanced conversions, so it does not replace the setup that feeds the ad platforms' bidding; it sits alongside it as the independent record. It has no experimentation platform, so if you want to test two Black Friday landing pages against each other you need a separate tool.
The biggest limit is timing. Attribution is only as good as the data captured before the sale, and a trial started on 25 November cannot see the prospecting clicks of October. If you want Arktis numbers for this Cyber Week, install it before Prime Big Deal Days, and note that Growth keeps 30 days of data, so October's prospecting clicks survive to Cyber Monday only on Scale, which keeps 90.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is Cyber Week 2026?
On Adobe's definition, Cyber Week 2026 runs for five days from Thanksgiving on Thursday 26 November to Cyber Monday on 30 November, with Black Friday on 27 November. Salesforce uses a seven-day window starting the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, which would begin on 24 November. There is no official definition, so check which window a statistic uses before comparing it.
What are the BFCM 2026 dates?
Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is 30 November 2026, with Small Business Saturday on 28 November in between. Thanksgiving falls on 26 November and GivingTuesday on 1 December. Shopify reports its BFCM figures over the weekend from early Friday in New Zealand to late Monday in California.
When is Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days runs for 48 hours on 6 and 7 October 2026, starting at 12:01 a.m. Pacific time on 6 October. It covers Prime members in 22 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden. For stores that do not sell on Amazon, it marks the start of the Q4 discount season and two days to keep out of a pre-season baseline.
What are the USPS holiday shipping deadlines for 2026?
For expected delivery before 25 December within the contiguous United States, USPS recommends sending by 17 December for Ground Advantage and First-Class Mail, 18 December for Priority Mail and 19 December for Priority Mail Express. These are recommendations, not guarantees. Alaska, Hawaii and the US territories have their own dates.
How do I know which Cyber Week ads actually drove sales?
Measure from your store's orders outward rather than adding up each ad platform's own report, since several platforms can claim the same order. Capture click identifiers and UTM tags when a visitor lands, keep them with the visitor across sessions, attach them to the order, and compare first-touch and last-touch results. Arktis does this for online stores and reports return on ad spend and customer acquisition cost per Meta campaign, and per platform for spend you enter yourself, from $49 a month with a 7-day trial on Growth.
